Joyful and giving

Most girls at the age of 12 have already dreamed about their wedding day and get lost in the whole fantasy of walking down the aisle. I was never one of those girls. From the day I met Ella Joy Bumstead and held her in my arms, almost all my dreams of living my life for myself vanished. I never would have thought babies to have held such power over someone. But for me holding almost 11 month old Ella pointed me towards a new dream I never had dreamed of....Motherhood....

8 years later and she continues to shape me and inspires me to pursue the new dream that was being modeled stronger than when it was first shaped. Ella later was known as my baby dream and often people said she was my favorite child. I don't and never hope to have a favorite child but she had a big role in my life and I am forever happy about it.

Ella from the day she moved in next door to my family when I was 15 years old, you could tell she had the mothering heart about her. She loved to tenderly care for her dolls and stuffed animals and even her baby brother at that time where it continued to grow as she got older.

Some kids outgrown things in their childhood life but the gentle nature of Ella will never be outgrown. She's protective of those she loves, sensitive and caring to other's emotions more than herself's. She loves to tease but does it in a way that doesn't tear you down, and you end up laughing 10 seconds later about.  So much about little miss Ellable (Ella)  that I admire so much and feel inspired that words can't even describe. Thanks for showing me the world in a whole new way. Through your joyful outlook on life and your giving heart.

Colors paint the evening sky

Beauty is shown in many places and things, for me beauty shows itself in colors. Each color represent it’s own form of beauty. I believe that God made every color with different aspect of each of them. People all look at a color from one angle including myself when there’s many ways to look at each color. Colors have meaning and I bet a lot of people have read the color meanings, I know I have. So I’ve decided to do a little of my own color meaning,
Red: It’s a clear future painted with love, It represents love in many ways, Jesus’s blood as he was hung on a cross, love given in the most satisfying way through flowers and notes with kissed lips red stains, wine dinner and a red dress you were on a date. Red in flowers seek attention so they are made to stand out.
Orange: A gorgeous sunset that gives you warmth and happiness, A touch of fall leaves touching the ground, adrenaline rushing through the veins onto your hands. An orange flower is full of life and excitement. Such a bubbly feeling
Yellow: Shows so much happiness and Joy, It’s uncontainable and uncontrollable how much it gives. It’s vibrate in showing off itself. A yellow flower shows signs of friendships, signs of success and pride.
Green: Very down to earth, literally the earth is covered in mostly green and blue, I’ve always wondered what God was thinking with making most of the world green and blue or earthy tones when he placed red at the top of the color spectrum. Green makes me feel very earthy indeed but it feels very barren or a form of nature I’ve never been able to accept therefore causing me not to accept it wholeheartedly. But it has the feeling of birth or renewal as a green flower definition puts it. Maybe that’s what God had in mind when he placed green on this earth and mostly covered the earth in green. Maybe that’s why most people love green.
Blue: Blue is a lot like green but it’s not really an earthy toned color it’s more calming ocean toned color, even though there’s many shades of blue none give off the earthy tone as green does no matter the shade it is. Blue flowers represent openness. A sign of blue means peacefulness

Purple: Purple has always had a royal feeling to it. It’s a high and mighty color, expensive and rare back thousands of years ago. But as it became less royal it became more and more popular color that people enjoyed. The purple flower means Successful, Mighty, Graceful and refinement. All resemble royalty.
Brown: As far as History goes, it's a colored term used for Africans such as my self. It's a warm cozy color as earthy tone it may.  Whenever fall comes along I look forward to seeing the brown in everything.
Black: Emptiness and void, It means darkness, death. But it's also is a very elegant color. Why you may wear it to a funeral you also wear it at weddings. It's consider a shade and not a color. But who's to argue?
White: Opposite of black, also a shade but people call it white. It's also what we use to call Europeans. but white is another symbol or pure and elegance.
Pink: A lighter shade of red. Most people think it's my favorite color because it's 85% of what I own. But I own it because I look good in pink than most colors. Pink flowers mean gentleness, happiness and just like red Love. But it's a delicate version of red.

Each and every color has a special spot in making our world.

Adventure of Tori Anders: Where the plot went wrong

Story I wrote when I was a sophomore and writing wasn't what it is today. But I wanted to take a writing class, So it's a short story that had to be more than 3 pages.

“Ever wonder why nothing exciting has ever happened to you?” Well that's exactly what

16 year old Tori Anders thought. Tori lived in Brooklyn, New York with her parents and

three sisters who were triplets and twin brothers. She felt like no matter what

happened something exciting always happened to her sisters and brothers. Even in her

family being the only one without a twin wasn't exciting. You'll also meet Kody Gates, a

boy who lives with his parents, twin brother, 5 sisters and a dog named after him

but with a C and a Cat named Toby. When you first meet him he is getting ready to move

from Houston Texas towards Brooklyn New York to live with his grandma. This is the

story how their lives went from nothing exciting to thrilling. So sit back in a

comfortable chair and get ready to read.

It all started one day as Tori Anders a Sophomore in school was late for school,

was looking for a school assignment that was due that day.

“Tori shouted her mother “Come downstairs and eat some breakfast the bus is gonna be

here soon”.Not hearing her mom shouting was still searching for her assignment, looking in her

closet she pulls out her clothes, art supplies, magazines. Just everyday stuff thrown in

her closet, was just about to put all her stuff back into the closet when her eyes

catches this glimmering. Curious she notices this key necklace with a ruby in the center

of the key. “I've never seen this before “And I've had this closet since I was 9, I wonder..”

“Tori, shouted her 10 year old sister Corinne causing Tori to jump, “What are you

doing?. Mom's been shouting for you.” “I'm looking for my English Assignment” replied Tori.

“Well hurry up The bus is gonna be here any minute and mom says she doesn't have time

to take us to school, since she has to take the twins with her to a Dentist appointment.

And I see it over there in your books sticking out.”

Tori turns to find that her English books were indeed where her sister had pointed out.

She turned to thank her little sister but her sister had left the room. Now in a hurry

she grabbed her assignment and ran downstairs to the hall where her backpack was hung

up. Grabbed it and giving her mom a hug goodbye ran out to catch the bus. Seeing that

the bus hadn't left she grabbed her usual seat next to her best friends Rachelle and

Chloe.

“What is that pretty thing around your neck Chloe asked once Tori was seated.

“Oh this? asked Tori touching the key necklace. “I found this in my closet just on the

floor, and look it has a ruby on it.”

“I don't remember seeing that and being your best friend you would had told me when

you bought something right?” asked Chloe.

“Well that the thing, “I've never seen this before until today.”

“Kody where are you?” Asked his twin brother Brant “Mom says we've got to hurry, our

plane leaves in 30 minutes.”

No answer

“Kody? “I know you're here somewhere but we don't have time for these stupid hide

and seek games”

Looking in the room he shared with Kody he finds Kody sitting on his bed looking out his

window.

“Kody come on we got to go we're gonna miss our plane if you don't hurry.”

“Whats so exciting about moving to New York Brant?” asked Kody, “I know Mom and Dad

want to be with Grandma but I don't see why she can't move here”.

Before Brant opened his mouth to answer their 10 year old sister Stacie pokes her head

in their room and said

“Boys Dad says we're leaving right now and he wants you downstairs in exactly 1

minute”.

Than she shuts the door and left.

“Well you heard the Captain, so we better march” Kody said looking at Brant.

With that they left their room taking a last glance at it.

“I am so glad school is out for the day” replied Tori. But the thing I am not glad about is

having to clean my closet out”. “Mom says A friend of hers is coming over with her

grandkids who just moved today from Texas.

“Texas said Rachelle

“Wow awesome! I visited Texas to see my cousins and it amazing you get to”...

“No it isn't interrupted Chloe “They don't have any malls or anything normal in Texas..

“Actually they do Rachelle shot back, “As I said I've been there to visit my cousins

and”..

“Did you visit a Mall Chloe interrupted again.

“Well no but..

“than how do you know?”

“Girls interrupted Tori, “Please, there is no need to argue about whether Texas is

rugged or not cause I am don't think it matters and if I don't hurry I'm gonna be late in

getting home. “My mom doesn't like for us to get home after she is”.

With that Tori ran the rest of the way home leaving her friends still bickering. Arrived

to find out none of her sisters had made it home.

“I wonder if mom let them got to a friends' house”.

But as soon as she had the words out she heard voices outside and found her sisters,

Corinne, Jolene, and Lorraine walking inside the door.

“Mom texted that she wasn't gonna be home til a little after five and that Janice and

her family aren't getting her til six-thirty” spoke Corinne “and she also has the boys

with her”.

“And she said that we're suppose to clean our rooms” Jolene spoke up.

“Well than Tori sighed “lets get this over with than because I'm eager to meet our

guests”.

“Are you sure your Mom said she was going to meet us at the airport Robert?” Kody's

mom asked “We've been off the plane, got all our luggage checked out and now have

been sitting here for over a hour.”

“Don't worry Kate my mom wouldn't forget replied Kody's dad.

“Daddy! said Jade Kody's 3 year old sister, “I just saw Grammie walk down this way,

Sure enough their grandma walked towards them with a bag. After hugs and greeting

were done

Jade asked “Grammie? “what was in the bag?”

Smiling her grandma pulled out a carrier and said, “Well I figured Kody wasn't all that

excited to come to New York so I got him something without asking his parents.”

She laughed at Jade's gasp and added with a wink “I'm pretty sure your parents

wouldn't mind.”

Handed it to Kody and told he could open whatever was in the carrier once they got in

the car. “And one of my friends' invited us to eat dinner at their place since I wasn't up

to making dinner and normally when I'm not feeling up to making dinner I eat with them.

“And we're not gonna go straight home otherwise we're gonna be late in getting there.”

“Do they have any kids our age asked Kody knowing his grandma had friends that were

ancient.

“Oh yes replied his grandma, let's see they have Victoria who's 16, Corinne, Lorraine and

Jolene who are 10 and those boys who are the sweetest boys ever. They are almost 3.”

“Twins and triplets thought Kody, “Poor Victoria being the only one without a close

sibling.”

“Well Let's move Said Robert, “we don't want to keep them waiting and with that they

left the airport.”

Once inside the car Kody opened the Carrier to find this Tiny puppy. So many aww filled

the air once he showed his family the puppy.

“Can I hold him asked his 14 year old sister Candice, and the puppy was placed in her lap

at once.

“And we get to keep him?” Jade asked with big eyes.

Her said her grandma smiling, “Yes and she's a breeding dog and since Kody knows all

about I thought he might want to breed her with Cody the dog with his name”.

“That because Hannah named him when she was little and mom had already mentioned it

was my name” defended Kody.

“And how did Hannah get to name Cody Grandma's questioned.

”Cody was named and given to her by our neighbor when she was 5 but mom and dad said

she couldn't take care of him til she was a bit older and she didn't want him once she

got older and said since Kody liked him he has him.” Responded Stacie

“Well I don't know if they like animals so keep him in his carrier in the car” replied his

dad. Since according to your grandma's GPS and and no help service he said glaring

sweetly at his mom, “looks like we're here so everyone out and remember to mind your

manners.”

”Corinne yelled Tori “I heard a car drive up, I think our Janice and her family are here.

“Can you get the door?”

“Why can't you do it Tori ?” Corinne yelled back me and the girls are making paper dolls

right now?” “

“And I'm frosting the Carrot cake and I don't want the boys to get into it. “Unless you

want to frost it” Tori yelled back.

“I'll watch the boys Corinne said walking inside the kitchen, I feel real shy opening the

door to total strangers.”

“If it makes you feel better I'll do it” said Tori walking towards the door.

“Hello Victoria” Janice said when Tori opened the door.

Smiling Tori politely asked them in. Once inside she said,

“My mom went to the grocery store for something she forgot and my dad is still at

work.”

“Oh pish posh Said Janice we don't mind waiting.” I'll introduce you to my family.” “This

is my son Robert and his wife Kate and these are their kids, Brant, Kody, Candice,

Stacie, Hannah and Jade, their oldest girl Zoey and her family couldn't come since they

live in Texas.”

“So what can I do” asked Kody's mom once introductions were over,

“I'm pretty sure we have everything finished except for the frosting of the cake which

Corinne is finishing, so we can just relax I guess.” Looking at Candice Tori asked “Does

any of you want to go upstairs to the game room?” When everyone nodded Tori lead the

way upstairs, there she stopped past her room and said “We have all sorts of games

here, so choose whatever you want to play but our rule is if there's fighting no one gets

to play and they have to sit out.”

Kody looked around at the big game room, the games ranged from board games to xbox,

Wii. He decided to go ask Tori to play a game with him hoping to get to know this girl

with hair the color of barley in summer and dimple smiles. Noticing her looking towards

his way he walked over.

“Hi he said shyly,

“Hi she said smiling, “Have you found a game to play?”

“No he said “But I was wondering if you would like to play one with me.”

“I would love to”. But first you got to tell me how to tell you two apart” she said pointing

to Brant.

Laughing he said, “Well for starters my name is Kody and I love animals and I try to

train, breed and save any animal I find. ”Secondly I have a lot more wavy strawberry-

blond hair than Brant does, and Thirdly I tend to like trying to build stuff.” And lastly

we dress differently unless we're playing a joke on someone which we tend to do a lot.”

“Other than that we're pretty much twins, we look alike, talk alike, eat alike, sleep

alike.” “Why my mom said when we were little we woke up at the same time cried about

the same thing.” Now question for you, how can you tell your siblings apart?”

Laughing Tori said, “Not even I can tell them apart but what I do know about them is

that Jolene is the shyest out of all of us kids, she won't talk not even at home, she only

says a few words in a sentence.” “Corinne is the oldest and she's half a inch taller than

Jolene and Lorraine. And she is terribly shy of talking to strangers but than warms up

super fast like you wouldn't had known she was shy“. “Like that she said pointing to

where Corinne and Stacie were playing “Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader” and were

laughing. “Lorraine has the darkest blond hair out of all of them, its naturally

highlighted so most people don't even think she's a triplet since she looks nothing like

the other two.” The two little boys Matthew and Mark well let's just say I haven't

found the difference yet. anything else you want to know about my siblings?” Said Tori.

“Instead of playing games I would like to get to know you more is that okay with you?”

Asked Kody.

“Sure shrugged Tori, “I wouldn't mind getting to know you.”

So they spend the time talking and didn't realize everyone had gone downstairs until

Tori said,

“Oh my I didn't realize it was so quiet,”

looking around she didn't spot anyone. “They must of went downstairs I think we should

go downstairs cause I'm getting hungry.”

So walking downstairs Kody noticed a glimmering around Tori's neck and thinking it would

be kinda weird asking her he just kept the question to himself.

Tori noticed that Kody who was talking up a storm before was so quiet, decided to ask

why he was so quiet. He hesitated for a bit than asked

“Whats that glimmering thing around your neck?”

Surprised he noticed her necklace she said

'Its a Key I found in my closet and it has a ruby in the center that glimmers.” I can show

you it after dinner if you'd like?”

Nodding his head, they went into the dining room to eat. After dinner they went up to

Tori's room, Tori showed him her key necklace and where she found it. Digging in her

neatly clean and organized closet she said

“This is where I found it which is strange since I've never seen it before until today.”

“I wonder how it got here thought Kody thinking out loud “It's kinda strange how it

would shown up in your room, does it belong to anyone in your family?”

Shaking her head Tori said

“My mom doesn't allow us girls jewelry til we're 13 or 14 and my mom never wears keys

necklaces when there are many prettier jewelry than keys.” “So I'm pretty sure..

“Wait I see a little hole big enough for a key” interrupted Kody “but its not against a

wall it's on the floor.”

“I don't know if we should try it out, since it might lead to the basement or something

scary” replied Tori uncertain.

“We won't be long begged Kody, Besides don't you want to see where's it goes?”

“I guess it won't hurt” Tori said with excitement in her voice.

Lifting the necklace from her neck she place the key in the keyhole. Immediately the

wall opened like a trapdoor with lots of glimmering lights around it. At once stairs

appeared each the color of a gem. Tori hesitated but felt calm when Kody reach out and

squeezed her hand saying

“Don't worry I'm right here.”

Together they walked down the steps with the door of Tori's room disappearing out of

sight. Before them a forest grew with birds the color of gems and a river with water the

color of Chocolate flowed.

“Wow said Tori “this is definitely not the basement but where are we?. I don't believe

we're in New York anymore.”

“You're not” said a voice causing Kody and Tori to jump.

Turning around they saw this human or at least it look somewhat like a human. It had the

face of a fairy but was build like a human.

“We've waited so long for you to come.”

When it saw their look of confuse he bowed and said

“Let me introduce myself I am Kioel, guardian of the between worlds and we've been

waiting for the day you Victoria and Kody would enter our world.”

“Wait a minute Kody said “How do you know us? And what do you mean you've been

waiting for us?”

“Are you not Kody Gates and Victoria Anders?

“Why yes said Tori, but how do you know us? Haven't you ever heard of Gem Kingdom?”

Shaking their heads Tori said I've never heard of this place and “I'm sure my parents

haven either.” Now it was his turn to look confuse.

“Everyone know of this place as a myth” said Kioel, “I'm guessing the King Heliol gave

the key to unlock this world and Victoria found it.” “But we must hurry off to the halls

of the royal family for King Heliol and Queen Salemia are waiting.”

So they followed Kioel towards the hall of the royal family. Once inside the halls of the

royal family Kioel said

“Whatever you don't understand the royal family will answer for its not my place to tell

you.”

Before them stood the King and queen both dressed in the color of gems but what

caught their eyes was the royal family had also the hair of a gem, King Heliol's was the

color of a Emerald while Queen Salemia had the hair of ruby.

“Welcome Kody and Victoria boomed king Heliol “We've been expecting you”

“Excuse me your highness interrupted Tori “But what I want to know is I guess

everything since I'm super confused.”

“Ahh Kioel told us you two were left in the dark.”

When he saw them exchange glance he said

“Let me tell you all about it from the beginning.” “Long ago this kingdom of Gems ruled

peaceful with two brothers. The oldest brother took on a beautiful wife but soon after

his two sons were born he died. Now the youngest brother married the widow raising the

boys like his own sons teaching them everything he knew. “He was given a beautiful

daughter and soon after she was born he sadly passed away. “Now the sons were old

enough to inherit the throne and so one day they went to the aged queen and said:

“You're aging and we're in need of a king who can restore the kingdom to its right place

so choose of us to be king and we promise to keep you well cared for in the palace for as

long as you live.” “Now the queen knew her sons and had thought of who was to rule long

before, so she said “It is done the well caring son has been chosen to rule.” “The oldest

was made king and took the throne and but youngest on hearing that got angry but there

was nothing he could do. “He vowed to get even with the older brother in taking over

what was rightfully his. The brother tried giving him his own land and another kingdom

but the younger brother wouldn't take it.” He went away leaving the kingdom in peace

for a while. The daughter was given in marriage to a lord and was treated with every

high standard as a princess. “The king married and the royal couple were given a

beautiful set of daughters. And that's when the trouble started. “The young brother

plotted to get rid of the daughters knowing how much the king and queen favored them,

he snatched both of them sending one daughter into the Human world and the other

daughter he kept as a prisoner. “And he has destroyed the once beautiful land of Gems,

causing the land to turn bitter and dark. But then a key would be found in the human

world giving the person to pass through here. And the key would only land on the place

where the lost princess was located. Than causing us to locate help and the key also

indicates who the person is to help. So So than why are we here wondered Kody, Cause

Tori found the key. I want to know at least my part in helping?” You're a animal lover

aren't you not? asked the king, Kody nodded wondering what a animal lover had anything

to do with him. One of the princess escaped from the dungeon has been turned into a

animal as a curse. “By the curse she is not able to come to anyone. But can only be

changed back by a good deed the animal lover has done.” “So you are to try and draw her

towards you in a act you do. The act must be done for a enemy no a animal.” And you are

to be a companion for Tori.” “Protect her doing whatever you have to make sure she's

safe”

“Does this mean we're to look for the princess” asked Tori cause the thought of dark

gloomy dungeons made her all jumpy.

“No she escaped into your world, once located the princesses you must find a way to

bring them here and be careful for there will be temptations.” “No one knows of your

quest for you must tell no one and must not accept any help from anyone of the human

world no matter how friendly they might seem.”

“Wow thought Tori “Here I thought my life was getting boring and now I have a life and

death quest.”

“One more thing, said the king as they were leaving, “My brother knows of you two and

he will do everything in his power to keep you two separate, he'll try by using friends

even your parents to try and separate you.” “So whatever happens stay close together

and work as a team.” “Here is whenever you need help”, placing a gem in each one's hand

he said “Put it to your neck and whenever you need help just take it off you and never

take it off unless you need help.”

“What if its jerked off?” asked Tori knowing her little brothers love yanking stuff off

her neck.

“Whenever this is on your neck cannot be taken off by another human unless you take it

off.” “Remember never take off unless needed.”

With those words they found themselves back in Tori's room with the door to the gem

world gone.

“Kody, its time to go” yelled his dad from downstairs,

Glancing at Tori he said

“I'll see you tomorrow at school?”

“Yes Tori said Its your first day?”

“I've already got all my classes assigned to me and where I'm suppose to go because we

came last week, so yes it's gonna be my first day.

And with that he left and was gone.

The next day had a bitter feeling in the air and as Tori dressed for school she thought

about what had happened last night,

“I wonder if we're gonna find both princesses today.”

Once at school she spotted Kody and his brother immediately but none of her best

friends. They hadn't been on the bus that morning so she decided to find them before

class started. Kody spotted her, walked over and said

“It was on Announcement that two girls' houses caught on fire last night so they're not

at school today.”

“Oh that's terrible Tori said “Did you catch who's name they were? Nodding Kody said

“Rachelle Fias and Chloe Haste, stopped when he saw her face.

“Whats wrong? he said

“Those are my best friends and their houses burned down. “No wonder they weren't on

the bus.

Before he could comfort her the bell rang.

As soon as school let out for the day Tori gathered her homework assignment getting

ready to leave when someone pushed her. On the ground she looked up to see the High

street girls the most popular girls at school laughing and stealing her books. “Hey

someone shouted “it looks like for once in her life Tori is looked down upon”

They all burst out laughing. With that they left laughing. Once she found her books

which the girls didn't steal but dropped Tori picked up her books and walk outside,

There she noticed one of the popular girl crying, Even more surprised Tori saw Kody ask

her what was wrong. Walking up to them she heard the girl say,

“I don't have a ride home usually one of my friends drop me off but her boyfriend took

her to the mall today and she thought it would be embarrassing having her friend tag

along.”

“I can give you a ride said Kody, “I have my car parked outside and since my parents

both gave me and my brother cars once we had our license so I can drive to school.

Which leaves me the choose of giving rides.”

Tori was surprise to hear Kody volunteering to give her a ride after what she and her

friends did to him today, than was even more surprise to hear him say that Tori was

going along even though she lived super close to the school. So she went with them and

after dropping the girl who said her name was Christine and were on the road they

noticed a glimmer along the side of the road than it grew bigger until it was so bright

they shielded their eyes. Than as quickly as it happen it ended leaving a girl on the side

of the road, who looked a lot like Tori herself.

“Thanks you for Rescuing me” said the girl, “I am princess Mathialine but in the human

world I was given the name Heather.” I thought I would never be rescued.”

“What I want to know said Tori once they stopped to let her in. “Is how you look like

me?”

“I wasn't told that the princess was gonna to look like me. “I mean its kinda cool but

distracting at the same time.”

“That I don't know said the princess “For I have never seen my twin sister nor parents

but had been reminded countless times by my hateful uncle how well my sister Kianla

looks a lot like me.

“He's even been kind enough to show me what my family looks like except for my sister.

But I never got a good enough glance for he shuts it down immediately.”

“Where are we to do now? asked Kody interrupting, We can't take her home with us for

we most definitely will be questioned and”..

“The king said we were not to tell anyone” finished Tori, “Well I guess it means we look

for the last one as soon as we can.” Otherwise we suffer the consequences of making a

lie up.”

“Why don't you ask your parents about her staying overnight therefore you wouldn't

have to lie” Kody suggested.

“Uh I don't think that's a good idea responded Tori “My parents always make people talk

about themselves and what am I to do when they ask where she lives and how we met?”

“I see your point said Kody, but we have no choice so can we at least try it?”

Turning to the princess Tori said “You must never tell my parents about you if you are to

stay over cause your father instructions was we were suppose to protect you once we

found you and doing that we can't tell about you and neither can you.”

When the princess agreed, Tori turned to Kody and said “We'll meet you here tomorrow

morning since tomorrow is Saturday.”

Once at Tori's house, Tori thought ”Should I introduce her to my mom and younger

siblings or should I just lead her up to my room and than mention her later?”

Before she could decide her mom came up as soon as the door opened. Tori noticed that

her mom wasn't happy as soon as she saw the look on her face.

“Where have you been? asked her mom, “Your sisters got home almost 3 hour ago and

you're just now showing up?” I don't want excuses this time. I want to know where you

were.”

“I got a ride home with Kody” said Tori hoping she didn't have to explain with her mom

friends from school and I invited her to stay overnight if that was all right with you.”

Tori's room while I finish talking with Tori.”

you just met Kody but he's already has made you forget about your responsibilities and

so that doesn't happen again I don't want you to get rides with him anymore, you need

to walk home with the girls and I don't think its a good idea you hang around him. So

only in class you can see him other than that you can't be friends with him.”

are not allowed to hear.”

After she closed the door after her sisters she said quietly,

“I think your uncle messed up my mom for she already has forbidden me to talk to Kody

and I need to talk to him.

“Than go talk to him, besides I heard you and your mom's conversation and I have the

feeling if we don't go now all will be lost.”

“What do you mean if we don't go now?” “We can't go anywhere now replied Tori

“I need to get home and so do you explained Heather.

Seeing Tori's confused look she said,

“I just realized who you are and you're not Tori Anders well I mean you are but in a

weird sense of a way. “So can you call Kody and have him meet at the park in 20

minutes?”

Uh sure let me get my cellphone replied Tori still confused.

Grabbing it she dialed Kody's number relieved when he answered it on the first ring.

“Kody we need you to meet me at the park A.S.A.P.

“Sorry Tori my brother answered the phone and decided to play a trick on you.”

Responded Kody “Why do you want me to meet you at the park? You sound kinda scared

With that she hung up.

After getting permission from her mom Tori and Heather left for the park. On arriving

they spotted Kody there sitting on a bench. He smiled when he saw them causing his

dimples to show.

“Hi he said “so whats so important?”

“I'll start said Heather “Tori found out she was adopted after her mom talked to her

saying she was suppose to not be seen with you and I heard the whole conversation and

than it hit me back when we were baby before we were snatched that Tori has exactly

what my twin has in her eyes, it turns purple in confusement not to mention she looks

like me and her mom thought so too, so if we leave now we can get back but we need to

sneak you there oh and my uncle's minions are on their way,”

“I thought it was weird I could sense it” said Tori “but than again I always sense

frightening stuff.”

“That's exactly what I sense” said Heather. “So we better leave now.”

With that they all ran towards Tori's house. Sure enough Minions were everywhere

searching and tearing things apart, one minion was tying up Tori's family or adopted

family while telling another to watch the door in case they escaped.

“How are we to get in? asked Kody whispering, “There's minions everywhere and we

don't want to be seen.

“Hmm thought Tori “Where is a place they haven't searched, “Ah ha she thought, “I bet

the minions are afraid of a room that I used to always go to when scared, I remember.”

“Kody, Heather if we go down to the basement they won't ever find us and I had my

parents give me the room that connects to my bedroom and that's the only one that

does.”

So racing to the basement they went in sure enough no minions were in sight so they ran

on towards Tori's room, placed the key in place and found themselves back in the forest

of gem colors and a chocolate river. Kioel greeted them happily and said

“Wow you're already back?” “We have to hurry” Kody said “Minions are in our world

about to find us, can you get us to the hall of the royal family now as fast as you can.”

Smiling Kioel said use your gems. Taking off their gems they found themselves in the

hall of the royal family.

“Well done Boomed the king as soon as he spotted them. “Whats suppose to happen

now?” asked Tori “We followed directions and now what?”

“Kody and Tori my daughter, you not only rescued one but you found out that Tori was

really the other lost princess.

“What of my family? asked Tori “They are back there with the minions.” “The minions

can't harm them, as for the minions they can come back anytime but as for your travels

you're not quite done yet. “My brother has another plot and he's determine to take over

for good. He can't harm you no longer.”

“Does this mean we say goodbye to Kody” inquired Heather for she knew her sister

wouldn't want Kody to leave.

“Oh no Kody is not going anywhere, he still has travels ahead, So instead of saying

goodbye forever you'll only say goodbye for a while.”

“May I return or am I never to return to the human land Father?” asked Tori

“I'm afraid while my brother is still plotting it would not be safe for both of you to

remain here so you Tori will remain in the human world until needed.”

And with those words Tori and Kody found themselves once again back in Tori's room.

Smiling Tori said “I've always thought my life was so dull and nothing exciting but I

would have never dreamed I was actually a princess of Gem kingdom.”

“Expect the Unexpected replied Kody smiling back. “We must never expect dullness in

our lives but excitement no matter what.”

“Wanna go see if you can Stay for dinner” asked Tori racing towards the door. “I don't

think my mom would mind.”

“Sure I would love to stay“ said Kody also heading towards the door.

With that they shut the door to Tori's room.
